Summer 2013 haul

Hello,  so I recently did a bit of shopping and so I thought I should do a haul.  Here are a few of the items I purcased:

I purchased this bikini at Accessorize and I'm really happy with it. It fits nicely,  its pretty and girly.  However I'm not friends with the price tag.  It was on sale and was reduced from £31 to £22. I know its expensive but I can tell its good quality.

The next item I picked up was this pair of stripe shorts. I got them from H&M and they were £12.99. I think this would look really nice with a bright top. I think they are really nice and I'm very excited to wear them.

The third item I'm going to show you is this pair of cute thin material shorts from Primark.  They were £4, which is amazing. I'm going on holiday in a week and I think these will perfect for the daytime.

The last item I'm showing you is this pair of cute sandals.  They were also from Primark and were £12. I think Primark are definitely putting up their prices!! Anyhow I really like them and I love that teal green colour!

I hope you enjoyed this post and there will be more coming soon! Don't forget to follow and comment below if you have any suggestions for future posts! Thanks for reading!

Disappointing product/s #1- Pantene 2min Deep Shine Masque

Hello! I'm back with another post on a hair product that I picked a while back.
I don't think I have mentioned this but my hair is quite wavy, thin and can sometimes (all the time) get very frizzy. So I wanted something like a hair masque that I could use once or twice a week that would tame the frizz and just add a bit of shine.

I purchased it at boots for £4.69
When I first saw it, I thought this would be perfect because I have thin hair, that is quite dull and could do with a bit of shine. It says "Our lightweight shine reviving treatment evens/smoothens your hair's surface so it can reflect light again, leaving it shiny and full of life." And of course I'm one of those people that falls for it! And so I bought it, and to be honest it looked quite promising but as I started to use it I found that I wasn't much different to my normal conditioner. It did make my hair feel slightly more smooth and soft, but I feel like it just didn't live up to its name.
It has quite a gloppy texture and goes on to the hair easily. I will finish this pot but sadly I don't think I will be repurchasing it anytime soon. I don't usually find Pantene products a problem or have anything against them but I found this to be disappointing. For those of you want to see the product or other people's reviews on the Boots website, I will leave the link below.
Please comment below your favourite hair masque, because I would love to know! I hope you enjoyed this post or found it helpful (even though most of it was just me getting angry) hehe. Don't forget to follow! I will be back pretty soon with another post because I am off for a week, so don't forget to check that out!
Thanks for reading! Bye!!

Nail polish review/look #1

Hello! Sorry I've been gone so long, been a bit busy and just haven't found the time to put another post up. But anyway I'm back and here with a nail polish review/look.
My sister decided she wanted me to paint her nails because she was going on a night out. She said she wanted a pretty coral/orange, and so I picked this out as it matches the description perfectly.

It's by a brand called 17 which is sold in boots. It's in the colour "tropical island" which is perfect for a summery look. Sienna* bought this for my birthday but it came in a set with eyeliner and fake tan. It's long lasting, bright and has tiny particles of gold glitter. I used 2 coats because I wanted it to be bold and stand out.
I used the Sally Hansen Double duty strengthening base and top coat to complete the look.

This helps to strengthen, keeps the polish on for longer and gives a finishing shine to the nails.

I would highly recommend both of these nail polishes.

Hello!

Well, I really don't know how to begin this but by saying hello! My name is Helen and I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now. I got inspired by Zoella (Zoe) and Sprinkle Of Glitter (Louise). I've been watching their videos along with other people on you tube and all of them say they started on blogs and then decided that moving on to you tube was the next best thing for them. I would love to follow in there footsteps as they are really amazing people.
I guess I haven't really told you about me. I'm 12 years of age, I live in South Yorkshire (England) and I am quite a chatty person. I spend most of my free time dancing and I love it!
The blog posts that I am going to be doing are about beauty, fashion, my thoughts and the occasional one about dancing. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and I would love to her your feedback and ideas for future posts!

Love from Helen
